A BEAUTIFUL EVENING

Before our confirmation there was a display in the hall, of a coffin, everything was dark and only lit by candles - after our mass, the coffin was open and only the sheets and thorn of crowns remained, with beautiful white rose petals everywhere symbolising that Jesus has risen!
Me, Keaton and Mom waiting for the fire to be blessed before mass

It was a stunning night indeed. After many months of preparation we were finally confirmed with our group of 4 other ladies on Easter Saturday. It was extraordinary to be confirmed at such a stunning mass, celebrating our Risen Lord. It was stunning to have our family with us to witness it. It was a very emotional evening and Megs and i were of course in tears of joy and pride as we watched each other being confirmed and being annointed with the oil of chrism. other photos were taken of the other moments throughout the mass, will share them with you all when we recieve them!

Thank you Sophie for your beautiful card and gift, which i am enjoying so much!
Thanks to all of you for your messages and phone calls and prayers, we are so touched that you remembered our special day and you were certainly a big part of it!

Our beautiful, precious and immeasurably loved Samm,
It was a truly inspirational and immensely spiritual experience to be able to share your long journey of preparation and then to witness the glorious culmination of your receiving the sacrament of Confirmation during the Easter Vigial Mass. You have indeed reaped the fruits of your labour, your toiling, sacrifice, commitment and devotion over many, many months of preparation and investment of your precious time. This sacrament is extraordinary in that you now are a true disciple of the Lord and you officially walk forevermore in the Holy Spirit and the associated light, love, wisdom, knowledge, counsel, piety, fear of the Lord, reverence, right judgement,, understanding, fortitude, courage, reverence, power and strength of the Holy Spirit ! It was extra special in that a very proud and delighted Grandpa was your sponsor. May the significant meaning and memories of this special moment in your life remain in your heart, soul and spirit, to provide you with every possible “gift” and blessing you will ever need. You are a magnificent personification of a warrior for and of God, and a truly incredible example of strength, hope, courage, faith, hope and love. Samm, we are overjoyed, honoured, privileged, proud and so very blessed to be your parents. May you forevermore develop even further and embrace the very special connection you have with the Holy Spirit as one of the three sacred parts of the Blessed Trinity. May the answers you seek to your questions in life and love be graced and blessed by the guidance, counsel and wisdom of the Holy Spirit. Congratulations once again, our darling Samm, you have truly and officially become a Soldier and Warrior for Christ, sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit.

With all our immeasurable love,

Mom & Dee
